Amy explained how she was concerned over how the pandemic would affect filming.

She said to her followers: “We’re getting out of quarantine and figuring out the new norm. Yesterday was the first day we were able to film. I had local crew here.

“My one producer down in LA, he has kids, he stayed there. He’s on a little iPad. It’s weird to have real people with you and then technology.”

She continued: “We’re going in slowly back to filming. We have four or five episodes out there that we weren’t able to finish. We’re going to try to finish that.”

Amy is hoping new episodes will air in the fall.

She added: “Networks are still figuring this stuff out. Hopefully we’ll be getting back to filming Season 21. Without filming or anything, I don’t get paid. I haven’t gotten paid in months.”

Amy said her and her fiance, Chris Marek, had to get tested, along with the crew, for coronavirus.

She said: “We went to one of those testing centers. We came back negative. I wear my mask when the crew first comes here. We take our temperature. We have to take our masks off. The crew gets tested too, they keep their masks on.

“We’re feeling it out. I thought yesterday and today went fantastic.”

The upcoming season will likely cover how the Roloff family is handling life in quarantine.

Amy, who divorced from her ex-husband Matt in 2016, mentioned how pumpkin season at Roloff Farms could be affected by the pandemic.

She said on Instagram Live: “Pumpkin season, as of right now, we’re planning on having, we’re not sure what that will look like.

“In the state or Oregon you can’t have more than 25 or 100 people, that goes until September. If it’s extended, we won’t be able to open up. We’re hoping we may be able to open up, but what does that look like? I have to talk to Matt to see if he is thinking of limiting that.”

The season could also feature Amy’s ex-husband Matt Roloff, 58, and his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, renovating the farm home on the property.

The new episodes may also featured Amy and Chris planning for their wedding, as she revealed on the live that she is aiming for fall for their outdoor ceremony.

Son Zach and his wife Tori’s life as parents of two may also be featured, as they welcomed their daughter Lilah earlier this year to join son Jackson, 3.
