JOHNNY Depp boasted he’d have a massage, emerge a “monster” and swallow an E at 8pm in a shocking insight into the star’s chaotic life.
The 57-year-old’s drug-fuelled lifestyle has been revealed in the High Court this week as he admitted the withdrawals had left him “sobbing like a child”.

The star’s addictions were recounted in court as part of his libel suit against The Sun for calling him a “wife beater” in a 2018 article.
In one message sent to a pal by Depp in 2014, the actor said: “I’m going to quite gracefully glide into a massage for my broken back and neck.
“I shall exit in one hour a monster.
“Shall we each swallow an E at around 8pm and go to dinner (at a) wonderful Peruvian spot?”
Depp said that the “Peruvian spot” could have been about a restaurant or cocaine.
The High Court heard today:
- Johnny Depp scrawled “I love u” in blood after an alleged confrontation with Amber Heard in Australia
- Johnny Depp’s own doctor claimed he “romanticised drug culture” and had “no understanding of delayed gratification”
- The actor claimed he was on strong medication when he appeared slurring at a Hollywood awards ceremony
- Amber Heard’s movie with James Franco “precipitated a binge” that put Depp in hospital
- Depp said he would get a massage and would “exit a monster” before taking E at 8pm
- The 57-year-old said he had been “sobbing like a child” after not getting medication he needed during detox
- Depp texted Heard after an alleged attack in 2014 apologising for his behaviour and saying “I’m a f***ing savage”
The court heard Depp regularly drank and took drugs with Avengers actor Paul Bettany and had gone on a 24-hour cocaine and booze bender with rocker Marilyn Manson.
And the High Court was today told that Depp’s private doctor, David Kipper, believed the actor “romanticises the entire drug culture”.
The doctor also wrote that Mr Depp paid “lip service” to people like the actor’s friend Sir Elton John “more for their celebrity than their struggle with sobriety”.
Dr Kipper added: “There is also an issue of patience. He is driven almost reflexively by his ID.
“He has no patience for not getting his needs met. He has no understanding of delayed gratification and is quite childlike in his reaction when he doesn’t get immediate satisfaction.”

The medic started to treat Heard for anxiety before referring her to Dr Connell Cowan, who wrote in his notes that Depp was “threatened” by James Franco.
The court was told Heard’s movie with the other actor left Depp hospitalised after a drug binge.
Ms Wass said Dr Cowan wrote in medical notes: “JD (Johnny Depp) is very threatened by career, particularly any kind of romantic scenes she has to do.”
This week, the court was shown pictures that revealed Depp’s wild lifestyle – including lines of cocaine and pints of whisky for breakfast.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star has been accused of being a “serial domestic abuser” who would lash out at Heard when he was on drink and drugs.
He also confessed he spent £23,834 a month in wine for him and others in another explosive admission.
The Rum Diary star this week admitted to the court he first took drugs aged just 11 – and had tried every substance “known to man” just three years later.
Meanwhile, the court was told Heard had been Depp’s nurse as he detoxed while on his private island in the Bahamas.
In his witness statement, Depp claimed that he was left sobbing “like a child” when Heard “withheld medicine” from him.
Describing it as “one of the cruellest things that she has ever done”, he said: “My body clock was needing medication to stop the onslaught… I was not in good shape.”

The court was today shown a clip of Depp slurring at the Hollywood Film Awards in 2014.
Ms Wass said that it showed a “spiralling-down” of Depp’s sobriety, adding: “You were falling off the wagon.”
But the star said he had not been on any illegal drugs and was instead taking prescribed drugs to help him kick his addiction to painkiller Roxycodone.
