MANCHESTER UNITED and Tottenham are set for a transfer tussle for Napoli striker Alexander Milik, according to reports.
The Pole has been in decent form for Gennaro Gattuso’s side this season, scoring 13 goals in 23 outings.

The 26-year-old seems unlikely to extend his deal beyond its current 2021 expiry date and Napoli have accepted they will have to part ways with him.

According to TuttoMercato, Tottenham have made contact with Milik’s entourage but will only look to get a deal over the line if Harry Kane edges closer to the exit door.
The striker fuelled transfer talk last month as he admitted he was “ambitious” and not prepared to stay at Spurs “for the sake of it.”
Spurs only have rookie striker Troy Parrott to turn to if England captain Kane picks up another injury and Milik at 6ft 1ins tall would be the big man Mourinho could turn to as an appealing back-up option to lead the line.
Manchester United are also thought to be long-term admirers of his as they have been looking for a proper replacement for Romelu Lukaku.
Odion Ighalo has agreed an extension of his loan deal – but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping for a more permanent solution upfront.
