TED Cruz has warned that Donald Trump’s reelection bid would be “all over” if he loses Texas as polls show him holding a slim lead over Joe Biden.
Cruz made his warning in a video address that he posted on Twitter on Sunday.
“If the Democrats win Texas it’s all over,” he said.
“Texas is the single biggest target for the left in 2020, politically speaking. There are 38 electoral votes at stake. There’s a US.
“Senate seat at stake. And Texas is the key to national domination for years to come.”
According to a RealClearPolitics polling average, President Donald Trump is beating hopeful Joe Biden to the post by just one-fifth of a point.
“And make no mistake, the Democrats and the liberal media, they’re doing everything they can to take Texas,” Cruz continued.

“The last five Texas polls in a row have shown President Trump and Joe Biden in a virtual tie.
“This is a real race.”
The Republican concluded with a warning: “We’ve got four months to stop a blue wave from destroying the great state of Texas.
“They’re tearing down America. We can’t let that happen.”
Trump recently bashed polls, dubbing them as “fake” and questioning why they are low.
